When I shopped for a transceiver, I needed one accessible to the blind. The KX3 has a CW interface. A third party device called aHamPod provides complete access. The designers of the KX3 built it for QRP operation. I kept reading about using it in the field. At first I wrote this off, but in a flash I realized that I could take it onto my building’s roof deck. The KX3 anticipates my needs, and I would recommend it to anyone in search of an amazing QRP radio. Blind hams should also get a HAMPod
